Final straight of the 2018/2019 campaign

  We enter the final stretch of the 2018/2019 campaign in which prices have played a more important role than in previous years. According to the POOLred source, the weighted average price of the last week is € 2,290.08 / t, highlighting the little differential between the other ranges of the product, such as Virgin Olive Oil with € 2,088.96 / t Lampante Olive Oil with € 2,001.50 / t. The sector for its part, is demanding from the public administration, some measures in which these prices are regulated, so that the price rises, since these low prices can become unsustainable and even more so with the amount of Oil of Olive that remains to be sold. Also, with this warm and dry weather, for the next campaign it is predicted that it will have a low production. In short, we hope that in the time remaining for the next campaign, the price can be traced and also that despite the bad forecasts for the 2019/2020 campaign, it may be good compared to the previous campaign.
