The Mediterranean Diet is a lifestyle in which balanced and healthy meals are consumed. Its high content of antioxidants and also with different vitamins, can prevent chronic diseases. One of those diseases, as Dr. Leandro Plaza, president of the FEC (Spanish Heart Foundation), could be the cardiovascular ones that are essential for the functioning of the heart, since “this natural juice gives us a high nutritional value to be able to follow a healthy diet ”. In short, the Mediterranean Diet is recognized worldwide for its culinary contributions as concrete products, such as EVOO. The consumption of this product can not only satisfy the culinary taste of different foods, but its nutritional contribution is very beneficial for the human being and every day, the consumption of EVOO, continues to increase thanks to its worldwide recognition.
